SAVE TIGERS - say celebrities !!! BUT HOW???

HEY I THINK THERE ARE AROUND 1500 OF US LEFT IN THE WILD








HEY WE ARE NOT EVEN 500 IN NUMBERS!!!!







SAVE TIGERS!!! 1411 left... But is there any body who knows how many Asiatic Lions are left in the wild??? There are less than 500 of them left in small pockets of forest range in Gujrat.

I just love these carnivores . They are great beautiful animals but how can i help in saving them. I am fed up of ads that feature celebrities reminding us about the number of tigers left. But no body is telling us on how can we contribute in saving the TIGER....
I think the Aircel promoted ad is just trying to cash in on the sentiments of people who care for the creature, Some real effort is required on the ground if they are to be really saved. Poaching , illegal mining in forests must be curbed or else once a magnificent animal will only be a part of Natural History Museums.... More awareness programmes must be conducted in areas where there is conflict between humans and animals to really protect these creatures.

I think i am just lucky to find myself in a time where tigers and Lions are seen in the wild.I hope it will not face the same fate as that of Cheetah which once roamed freely in the forests of India.
